Get to know me
I am Sanja, a philosophy teacher, novelist, and coach. My work is shaped by my journey as a civil war survivor, which fueled my dedication to building spaces with empathy and courage. I take a multi-dimensional approach, blending UC Berkeley training in emotional intelligence, empathy, mindfulness, stress resilience, and happiness at work with my own research as a published author on emotions and trauma. I also lead a trauma healing writing program designed to help individuals process past experiences.
